How Can I Attach a Photo From My Harddrive?

Is it possible to attach a photograph from my harddrive to a post here? I just posted a message asking for help in finding a girl who no longer seems to advertise on the web. The dialog which came up when I clicked on the "Intert Image" button would only let me specify a URL, so I supplied a URL which points to the photo on my harddrive. But I see in the posted message that it just contains the URL I typed, NOT the photo!

Hi

You can't attach a pic from your hard drive.

My advice is that you upload it into a public image server like http://imageshack.us and use the persistent URL it gives you after uploading.
